A 6-yd cut makes a 90x108 wideback.

All new fabric from QT.
Christmas prints, blenders, panels, and more.  Also batiks and Kaffe Fassett from our shelves.
Use for quilt backs, borders, piecing, clothing, masks, etc.
Same fabric recently shipped to your LQS, selling on their shelves for $14-15/yard.

This is a limited time sale.  Think of it as a "trunk sale."  We get the bolts on consignment for a few weeks, then they move on to another shop.  A great opportunity to add some new first quality fabric to your sewing room.

Watch for our Fibber McGee clearance sale, sometime in the next few weeks.  We are culling the entire shop inventory and of course, the storage bins!  Books $5 each, BOGO.  Patterns $1 each, BOGO.  We put out the boxes as we clear out older merchandise.  Feel free to dig through it now.
Our business has changed so drastically during COVID-19 it is a good time to take stock of everything.  Quilting Services trending up.  Online sales breaking records, so that is our focus.  We are increasing batiks, discontinuing grunge except for abou4-6 colors, it doesn't sell online, so watch for big clearance sale on grunge.  Bringing new blenders.  Still keeping dimples and fairy frost, they are good sellers online.

Speaking of services, HELP!  We added a second longarm and are in need of an operator to run the Bernina longarm one day a week.  Prefer someone with a bit of longarm experience, or someone with the willingness or aptitude to learn LA quilting.  Share in a % of the $$ throughput.

It is time to talk about thread again, in the next newsletter edition.  New types of thread.  What do all those numbers on the spool mean?  When to use what kind of thread.  When is it important to use a matching thread.  And what color do I use for general piecing or sewing.  What about when I am sewing black cloth to white cloth?

The link to subscribe to this newsletter is faulty, the web gurus are working on it now.  Until it is fixed new addresses get an "invalid submission" notice.  Will let you know when it is up and running again.

Oh one more item, when there is a new batting on the market we try it out, always looking to improve.  Hobbs introduced a new batting in the Tuscany line, a 100% cotton with about the same loft as heirloom blend.  It has a terrible bearding habit so we will no longer use it.  Nothing wrong with the good old heirloom blend.  Our favorite 100% cotton is still Quilters Dream.
